Warum ist das kostenlos?

Ich betreibe die Server-Infrastruktur ohnehin und teile freie Kapazität mit Communities, die mehr brauchen als kostenlose Anbieter bieten — aus Spaß an der Technik, nicht aus Profit-Interesse. Kein Konzern, keine Investoren, keine versteckten Kosten.

Was ich mir im Gegenzug wünsche: eine aktive Community mit echten Mitgliedern, legale, community-freundliche Inhalte und einen erreichbaren Ansprechpartner. Mehr nicht.

Was kostet das Hosting wirklich?
Für kleine bis mittlere Communities: nichts. Bei höherem Ressourcenbedarf besprechen wir das vorab transparent — keine versteckten Kosten.
Welche Spiele werden unterstützt?
Grundsätzlich alle gängigen Spiele mit dediziertem Server. Sag mir einfach, was ihr spielt — dann kläre ich die Machbarkeit.
Wie schnell ist meine Community online?
Nach einem kurzen Gespräch meist innerhalb weniger Tage. Setup, Domain und SSL übernehme ich.
Kann ich meine eigene Domain nutzen?
Eine Subdomain ist inklusive. Eine eigene Hauptdomain ist möglich, muss aber selbst bereitgestellt werden und ist nicht kostenlos.
Wie sicher sind meine Daten?
Server stehen in Deutschland und Finnland (beide EU), Auslieferung nur per HTTPS, DSGVO-konform — kein Tracking, keine Werbung.
Was, wenn ich wechseln möchte?
Kein Problem und keine Knebelverträge — du bekommst deine Daten und kannst jederzeit gehen.
In welcher Sprache läuft der Support?
Die Webseite gibt es auf Deutsch und Englisch. Der persönliche Support und die Projektbetreuung finden ausschließlich auf Deutsch statt.

Why is this free?

I run the server infrastructure anyway and share free capacity with communities that need more than free providers can offer — out of enthusiasm for the tech, not for profit. No corporation, no investors, no hidden costs.

What I ask for in return: an active community with real members, legal, community-friendly content and a reachable contact person. Nothing more.

Frequently asked

What does hosting really cost?
For small to medium communities: nothing. For higher resource needs we discuss it transparently upfront — no hidden costs.
Which games are supported?
In principle all common games with a dedicated server. Just tell me what you play — I’ll check feasibility.
How quickly is my community online?
After a short chat, usually within a few days. I take care of setup, domain and SSL.
Can I use my own domain?
A subdomain is included. Your own main domain is possible but must be provided yourself and is not free.
How safe is my data?
Servers are located in Germany and Finland (both EU), delivered only via HTTPS, GDPR-compliant — no tracking, no ads.
What if I want to leave?
No problem and no lock-in contracts — you get your data and can leave at any time.
In which language is support provided?
The website is available in German and English. Personal support and project management are provided in German only.
